The Great and Holy Church of Christ, with majesty and according to custom, honoured the sacred memory of its founder and Patron Saint the glorious Saint Apostle Andrew the Firs–called, by celebrating its Thronal Feast.
On Saturday 30th November, His Most Holiness Bartholomaios the Ecumenical Patriarch, con-celebrated the Patriarchal and Synodal Divine Liturgy in the Patriarchal Church, together with His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, and Their Eminences the Hierachs of Crete Irenaios, Makarios of Aneos, Basileios of Konstantias ans Ammohostos, Theodoritos of Laodecia, George of Guinea, Athenagoras of Belgium, Damaskinos of Cydonia and Apokoronou, Nathaniel of Kos and Nisyros, Dionysios of Zakynthos, Athenagoras of Cydonia, Myron of New Zealand and Efstratios of Tserniyev and Nizhna, with the presence of the official representation oft he Church of Rome, during which he also performed the ordination to the Deaconate, Erudite Mr. Basil Gregoriades, a graduate from the Boston Holy Cross Theological Academy, renaming him Barnabas, addressing the new member oft he Clergy oft he Patriarchal Court paternally, and wishing him faith and a conscientious faithful ministry in the courts oft he Mother Church.
