On 17th March 2009 His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, received the new Ambassador of Cyprus in Egypt, Mr Konstantinos Leontiou at the Patriarchal See, together with Mrs. Ioanna Mallioti, Head of Protocol of the Republic of Cyprus, who discussed with His Beatitude issues regarding the visit by His Excellency Mr. Dimitris Christofias, President of the Cyprus Republic to the ancient Patriarchate next April.
These guests were then taken on a conducted tour of the Patriarchal Mansion by His Beatitude and a lunch in the Patriarchal Refectory.
