On Thursday 6th October 2009, the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa will meet under the Presidency of His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II.
The Metropolitans and Provincial Bishops from all of Africa (24 in total) have all been invited to the Synod.
The Holy Synod of the Hierarchs of the Patriarchate of Alexandria will convene for three (3) continuous days and will concern itself with all manner of pastoral, administrative, missionary and current issues which have to do with the Alexandrian Church.
