The Chief of GEETHA, General Konstantinos Floros, received, today, Wednesday, April 13, in his office His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa.
As announced, issues of mutual interest were discussed, as well as the important work carried out by the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, and also the various activities of Greeks living and operating in the greater Cairo and Alexandria region.
Among other things, the Patriarch referred to the excellent relations of the Egyptian state with the Patriarchate and the special interest of President El-Sisi of Egypt in the Patriarchate and the work it undertakes. Finally, the Chief of the General Staff of National Defense informed the Patriarch about his upcoming visit to Egypt.
