TELEGRAM OF CONDOLENCE FROM HIS BEATITUDE TO HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT HOSNI MUBARAK OF EGYPT

     His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, sent the following telegram ofcondolence to His Excellency President Hosni Mubarak of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the passing of his young grandson:

     Your Excellency Mr President,

    On the terrible announcement of the passing of your beloved grandson, we wish through this Patriarchal letter to express our wholehearted condolences, praying that the Merciful God will rest his blessed soul and grant you health, strength, patience and long life, so that you may continue your Presidency for the good of the people of Egypt.
