On the terrible announcement of the passing of your beloved grandson, we wish through this Patriarchal letter to express our wholehearted condolences, praying that the Merciful God will rest his blessed soul and grant you health, strength, patience and long life, so that you may continue your Presidency for the good of the people of Egypt.
