The news of Your election to the renowned Throne of the Apostolic and Ancient Church of Cyprus reached the land of the Nile and our hearing, as the breeze of Aermon, which gladdened me personally as well as the Hierarchs and clergy of our Ancient Church of St Mark and we cried out Axios (Worthy)!
Our divine election signals auspicious feelings, as you succeeded the not long dormant brilliant and much-loved Predecessor and Spiritual Father, Archbishop Chrysostomos II,
