SUPPLICATIONS TO THE MOST HOLY THEOTOKOS PERFORMED BY HIS BEATITUDE IN ALEXANDRIA

 
     On 1st August 2010, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa officiated at  the Supplications to the Most Holy Theotokos at the Patriarchal Church of St Savvas the Sanctified in Alexandria.

     Before the end of the prayerful gathering, the ecclesiastical hymns of which were sung by the choir of the African students of the Patriarchal Academy “Agios Athanasios”, His Beatitude delivered the homily, speaking of the Mother of God and the relationship of piety, respect and love which Christians have for Her.
