On 25th February 2018, the 1st Sunday of Great Lent, Sunday of Orthodoxy, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, conducted the concelebration of the Primates, together with His Beatitude Patriarch Ioannis of Antioch and His Beatitude Chyrostomos II, Archbishop of Cyprus, with the participation of many Hierarchs of Orthodox Churches around the world, at the Hly Church of the Wisdom of God, in Strovolos, Nicosia.
Concelebrating, were the Synodal Metropolitans of the Church of Cyprus, the representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate Metropolitan Panteleimon of Vryoulon, the representative of the Church of Greece His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Messinia, the representative of the Patriarchate of Moscow His Eminence Metropolitan Isidore of Smolensk, the representative of the Patriarchate of Serbia His Eminence Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar-Bosna, the representative of the Patriarchate of Romania His Eminence Metropolitan Niphon of Tirgobits, the representative of the Patriarchate of Bulgaria His Eminence Gregory of Brats, the representative of the Patriarchate of Georgia His Eminence Savvas Metropolitan of Honi, the representative of the Church of Poland Archbishop George of Brots, the representative of the Church of Albanis His Eminence Metropolitan Ignatios of Veration and the representative of the Church of the Czech Republic His Eminence George of Mihalovce.
As part of the celebrations organized by the Holy Synod of the Church of Cyprus, to honour the forty years of the Hierarchy of its Primate Chrysostomos II, in the afternoon at the Holy Church of the Wisdom of God in Strovolos, a Clergy-Laity Conference was held at which, apart from other greetings, homilies and events, a message was addressed by Theodoros II, the Alexandrian Primate. Present at this conference was His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades.
