On the occasion of the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which millions of faithful Muslims recall the Quran tradition with reverence and prayer, I wish to extend cordial and fraternal wishes to our Muslim fellow citizens in the blessed country of Egypt and to all over the Arab world, expressing the hope that the ethos of love will prevail, as a common and inviolable component of people’s words and works.
A special greeting is addressed to the Excellency President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, with the wish to lead the country safely on the road of prosperity, peace and justice. In his noble efforts for a hopeful tomorrow, he has as his fellow companion the unwavering faith of all Egyptians, regardless of their religious identity.
I pray to the God of Love and Justice, to embrace and protect all mankind from all adversity and retaliation.
