His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa paid a courtesy visit to the Greek Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday 18th November 2019.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Patriarch to the Maximou Mansion expressing his joy for this meeting.
Mr. Mistsotakis thanked the Patriarch on behalf of the Hellenic State for the important Missionary work he does, emphasizing the exceptional meaning this has, not only for the Greek Community, but also for the entire African Continent.
On hi behalf, the Patriarch of Alexandria expressed his fervent gratitude for the support and cooperation both on the part of the Hellenic State as well as from the Church of Greece.
Primate of the Alexandrian Church gave the Prime Minister an Icon in remembrance of the meeting.
