HIS BEATITUDE VISITS KOKSTAD IN SOUTH AFRICA
On 27th May 2008, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, accompanied by His Eminence Sergios of Good Hope and Archimandrites Chrysoostomos Efstratiou and Markos Theodosi, visited Kokstad, where he was warmly welcomed by the Greeks in the city, who expressed their great joy at having the Primate of the Church of St Mark among them.
His Beatitude emphasized the ceaseless concern of the ancient Patriarchate for the Christians of the Throne of St Mark, and urged the Greeks people to keep the flame of faith and the values of Hellenism alive.
That night His Beatitude attended an official dinner at the residence of Mr Savvas Miliotis, which was also attended by Monsignor Williams, the Catholic Bishop of the city of Kokstad .
