Your Beatitude and Most Holy Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, our most dear and beloved brother and concelebrant in the Lord, we embrace you in the Lord and address you.
In communicating with Your Most Holiness with great and fraternal love we wish to express our wholehearted prayers of support and sympathy on the siege of the blessed land of Russia and the great destruction of the fires. This suffering creates the internal necessity for prayer.
We also join our prayers with those of your love so that the heavens may send the divine and all-envigorating mercy of the Creator Lord of “peaceful rain…” to cease the terrible threat of the fire, just as the previous Patriarchs of Alexandria in the past directed their prayers on the Nile in Egypt.
We remain constantly at your side in prayers and supplication and we pray for strength for Your beloved Most Holiness and we embrace you with a holy kiss, always remaining your loving brother in the Lord.
