HIS BEATITUDE’S CONCERN FOR THE CHRISTIANS OF LIBYA
His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa is watching with particular concern the state of affairs in Libya and is most anxious about the safety and physical well-being of its citizens.
The Patriarchate is in constant communication with His eminence Theophylaktos Metropolitan of Tripolis and his venerable flock, to offer them moral support during these difficult moments.
The best wishes and prayers of His beatitude accompany our Orthodox brothers and sisters in Lbya, this ancient cell of Christianity, with the hope that peace and harmony will be restored in a manner which will be just for the Libyan people.
