On 4th September 2009, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa arrived in Athens from Alexandria to see to certain current issues of the Patriarchal Throne. In the VIP lounge of the International Airport His Beatitude was met by His Eminence the Elder Metropolitan Petros of Aksum, his representative in Athens.On 7th September 2009 His Beatitude receive in the Athens Patriarchal Office:
