On 6th November 2011, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Patriarchal Church of St Savvas the Sanctified in Alexandria and then went on to conduct the service of the Blessing of Water at the Patriarchal Academy of “St Athanasios” for the beginning of the new academic year 2011-2012.
During his brief speech His Beatitude addressed paternal advice and wishes to the African Students, whom he assured of his personal concern for their further progress and their future service as priests, with the will of God, following their graduation and their return to their places of birth.
