HIS BEATITUDE BLESSES THE VASILOPITA OF THE OLD AGE HOME IN ALEXANDRIA

       On 15th January 2012 His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, accompanied by His Grace Gabriel, Bishop of Mareotis and Patriarchal Vicar of Alexandria, went to the Old Age Home of the Hellenic Community of Alexandria to bless the Agiovasilopita of this benevolent institution and to meet the elderly being cared for there.            

       His Beatitude gave gifts to all and was particularly moved when meeting the last living elderly lady from Imvros, from the ancient Brotherhood of Imvrians of Alexandria, as well as with the Erudite Chairman of the Society of Greek Scholars of Alexandria.
