CONDOLENCES OF THE PATRIARCH OF ALEXANDRIA FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE TRAGIC ACCIDENT IN LIBYA
His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa, having been informed with deep sorrow of the untimely death of the three members of the Armed Forces, who lost their lives in the line of duty participating in the mission of Greek humanitarian aid to the state of Libya, which is a canonical ecclesiastical Province of the Patriarchal Throne of Alexandria, as well as of their two interpreters, who are the children of the beloved Chairman of the Hellenic Community of Benghazi, paternally expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic accident and to the Greek Armed Forces, while to the injured he extends heartfelt prayers for a speedy recovery
