On 26th May 2018, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, received a courtesy visit at the ancient Holy Monastery of St George the Great Martyr, from the Coptic Catholic New President of the Egyptian Council of Churches, Reverend Fr. Paul Jaras, with whom he discussed issues of the coordination of the dialogue and actions of the Christian Churches in Egypt. Present at the meeting were the Patriarchal Vicar of Cairo His Eminence Nicodemus Metropolitan of Memphis, the Abbot of the Monastery His Grace Bishop Theodoros of Babylonia and the Very Reverend Archimandrite Damaskinos Al Keadeh. Immediately afterwards, the Alexandrian Primate had a meeting with a group of Roman Catholic Nuns, of the Order of “Missionaries of the Charity of Mother Theresa”, who are active in Africa.
