His Grace Prodromos Bishop of Toliara and Southern Madagascar (Panagiotis Katsoulis), born in Sparta in 1982, where he completed his schooling.
From a very young age he was spiritually tied to the Holy Monastery of the Holy Unmercenaries in Parmonas at which he was tonsured a Monk in November 2005. To assist in the Liturgical needs of the Monastery, he was ordained Deacon (01/07/2011) and then Priest (17/08/2011) by His Eminence Efstathios of Monemvasia and Sparta.
In 2015 he graduated from the Department of Theology of the Theological Academy of the University of Athens.
In November 2015 he traveled to Cameroon and served beside His Eminence Gregory Metropolitan of Cameroon, as Chancellor of the Metropoli, particularly in the field of youth and catechism. He received the office of Archimandrite from the Metropolitan of Cameroon during Pascha 2016.
On his last pastoral journey to Cameroon 23-27/11/2017, His beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa consecrated him as Abbot of the newly-established Holy Monastery of the Virgin Myrtidiotissa in Yaounde.
On 26 November 2018, by proposal of His Beatitude he was unanimously elected as Bishop of Toliara and Southern Madagascar, and was orf=dained by His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros II on 13 January 2019 at the Holy Church of St Nicholas in Cairo.
