On 26th September 2009, His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, conducted the Holy Service of the Inauguration of the Holy Patriarchal Chapel of St Paraskeve, within the summer Patriarchal Residence in the suburb of Mariut in Alexandria, according to the recorded “Order of Inauguration” by the Great Author of Holy Works of the Great Church of Christ, Mr. Aristidis Panotis. This was followed by the Divine Liturgy.
On the same day His Beatitude appointed the new Director of the Patriarchal Library, Mr. Apostolos Trifyllis. Mr. Trifyllis holds a degree from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Athens and also a post graduate degree from the Universities of Lyon and Belgrade .
