The deliberations of the Holy Synod continued in the afternoon of 26 November. Matters placed and discussed were the deliberations of the Synod of Hierarchs convened last March in Constantinople, as well as the general Pan-Orthodox Dialogue in view of the Great Synod.
Following the end of the evening meeting, the newly-elected Metropolitans Niphon of Pilousion and Emmanuel of Ptolemaid, as well as His Grace Meletios Bishop of Nafkratis, presented before His Beatitude Theodoros II, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa and the Holy Synod the Great Message in the Holy Patriarchal Chapel of Ss Theodori.
